The 96 Hour Money Magnet!

In my last newsletter I talked about the “money cake” and its three essential ingredients.

a compelling product
an interested audience
an autoresponder

A couple of weeks ago I baked a very tasty money cake & I am going to share it with you in today’s newsletter!

Step 1 - I gathered my ingredients
(I chose 4 popular products)

Step 2 – I prepared my autoresponder

Step 3 – I used my autoresponder to mix
my ingredients with my audience
(my subscriber list)

Step 4 – I sat back & enjoyed the delicious results!

Dispensing with the cooking analogy, here’s what I did:

I decided to run a special 4 day sale offering a huge 50% discount off my most popular product. To make my offer irresistible I included 3 additional products as bonus free gifts.

I wrote 4 emails, 1 for each day of the sale and used the message scheduling feature in AWeber to send them out to my subscribers automatically.

I’ve created a ‘behind the scenes’ video to show you how I put the sale together and also share the results. This method is so simple that the video runs for less than 7 minutes!

Thanks for producing the video – I absolutely love stuff like this, just 100% great content.

That’s a great idea and congratulations on your success. I haven’t tried this in the way you have – but I do offer special offers on my products, usually as an upsell. My PLR site for example I offer people an 83% discount . If you give people a great price they will buy.

I’ve added your video to my file and I’ll be trying this at some point in the future.

I see I’m not the only one who uses cooking analogies in blog posts.

It looks like a nice execution of your plan with great results. Question – Do your list subscribers ever get mad at you for holding a sale on a product they already paid full price for?

In the case of this sale I haven’t had any complaints from full price buyers (so far!)

I think most people understand how sales work, if I buy a TV in a store for $500 and a few weeks later they hold a sale and mark the same TV down to $400 I wouldn’t expect the store to reimburse me my $100.

This is how businesses operate and I think people expect this.
