I started making money online back in 2004, at first it was very much a part time, done in the evenings and at weekends kind of enterprise fitted in around my day job.
Things stepped up a gear in 2008 when I learned how to create and sell information products and now I make all of my income online.
The steps that lead me to success are;
1 Develop a money making idea that works
2 Teach others how to do it
3 Build an audience of like minded people
4 Help this audience to grow their own online income streams by testing and recommending new ideas
I know this sounds remarkably simple but when you break it down it really is and having done it successfully myself I am convinced that anybody else can do it too!
Step 1 for me was a simple little idea for making money using eBay and this provided me with a very welcome supplement to the money I earned in my day job.
It was step 2, however, that enabled me to earn enough money to make the day job superfluous and today I want to help you to follow in my footsteps.

Hi Stuart
Sorry to arrive late in the challenge – but better late than never?
You make it sound so easy! Sadly I haven't watched the video – my link is toooooo slow at the moment, but I'll come back when I have a faster one and watch.
From the comments above I'm guessing you're asking people for more ideas – your book will have to be renamed "101 Ideas…"
Good luck
Jennifer

Hi Stuart,
Great points you raised here. I'd like to add a 5th to your list. Perseverance — a stick with it spirit that helped you stay your course. As you noted , you began in 2004 and started seeing gains in 2008. You didn't give up and that ought to be applauded. Keep up the great work. I'm not at the monetization point yet but learning lots from everyone. Stopped by on my 11th hour visit for the 100 comment challenge.
Best,
Elizabeth

Hi Stuart,
Awesome but yet simple points to consider. As I have not yet gotten into monetization. This will definitely give me something to think about. I will get those free chapters and read them through. Thanks for sharing!

Hey Stuart,
I finely worked my way up the list to # 33 that’s you that means I still have a ways to go yet I guess I better get jumping around the net for a few more and then I’m going to crash for the night. I should have done this at the beginning of the month but it was a spur of the moment thing thought it would be a fun experience and it is.
Have a good one.
Enjoy the Challenge.

Hi Stuart,
It seems that you are hitting success already with your product.
I'm too busy right now to offer ideas but I hope that you'll get more than enough of them in no time.

Hi
A very thought provoking post, thank you.
It's so easy to get into 'busy fool' mode (I mean me, nobody else) and lose sight of the big picture.
A great reminder of what the big picture might look like.
Thanks
John

Hi Stuart,
Very interesting and a great idea. I agree with Andy proof and experience are essential even from another field. Business is business online or off. An idea is not always enough I think it depends on the individual and those he she surrounds themself with. That is mentioned in your first point and very true… Develop a money making idea that works
I am also looking forward to the book
Vince

Hi Stuart,
It all sounds so simple when you put it like that ha ha.
I previously found success initially an affiliate, but more success was had once I created my first ebook.
Once you have the army of affiliates promoting for you, you really have it made.
Sally 🙂

Hi Sally
A wise comment from an experienced marketer: create your own products and enlist affiliates to market them, great advice, sally!
