    I’m generally skeptical about “anyone-can-do-it”, low/zero cost of entry schemes.

    If it’s so easy and anyone can do it, what’s the unique selling proposition (USP) and what’s to prevent the market from becoming saturated whether you try to limit the information or not?

      The handmade nature of the Etsy marketplace means that your own imagination/creativity will always be a factor in your products and the idea featured in my Etsy Mini Guide is no different – remember, we aren’t talking about eBay here with hundreds of people all trying to sell identical ‘widgets’ – you can take this idea in many different directions and creative people will always make their own USP.

      Saturation isn’t really an issue with handmade items.

      Etsy is the perfect platform for beginners – much easier to use and a level playing field unlike ebay which is biased towards established/volume sellers.

    You mention that it’s cheap to set up but does it entail all the extras, such as auto responder, website etc. that adds to the cost?

      This idea is about selling a simple, paper based product (NOT illustrations removed from books) on Etsy so no, there is no need for autoresponder, website etc.
