Recently I chatted to Andy Lawrence from wholesale-help.com about how I got started on ebay and how I became a full time internet marketer.
This is the first time I’ve been interviewed online and I share a lot of stuff that I have never discussed before.
You can listen to the audio recording of our chat by clicking the following link (right click and select “save link as” to download it to your PC):

The audio lasts for around 40 minutes and I think you will find it interesting whether you are completely new to selling online or you are an experienced ebayer.
Don’t worry, the interview doesn’t turn into a hyped up promotion for mine or Andy’s products although you may feel inspired to starting your own ebay vintage prints business after listening – if you do and you’d like a helping hand to do so check out our brand new course by clicking the graphic below
(do it now though because we will be closing this offer very soon to protect the quality of our personal support and mentoring service).

Many thanks to you, Andy, and your guest, Stuart Turnbull, for an hour of fascinating exchanges about Internet Marketing and niches. I’ve gotten increasingly interested in Prints for Profits as a major sideline, after almost 12 years of bookselling on Amazon and Ebay, at a bit more than half time, since I retired from MY 31+ years of commuting on a “day job” here in the States, and am now digesting Stuart’s wonderful Edward Gorey Guide. It was nice hearing in detail Stuart’s story of his development (so much in so little time!) since I’d only heard bits and pieces from him the last few years. I especially appreciated Stuart’s comment about Book Plate selling being ideal for retired and disabled folks, since I’m part of both. At 74+ it’s s getting a little harder to get out to thrift stores and estate/garage sales, and lugging boxes and bags of books around, so being able to source old books for saleable prints is definitely the way to go for me. Having an interest in old books, art and illustration doesn’t hurt either. Plus, selling real books, except at the very high end, appears to be headed to the dust bin of history what with the way things are going with Kindle, Nook and ebooks in general. Finally, I just really enjoy listening to Stuart (and his mentor, Jim Cockrum) explain things–clearly, warmly and honestly. Great interview!

Hi Stuart,
Really enjoyed that interview. Will take a few things from it. Plus I now will be signing up to Andy’s wholesale site.
Like what you said about messages, that you only read so many. I suppose if you have as many subscribers and they all leave comments it might be difficult. I read all my comments, i only have about 150, and that’s over a period of 3 years or so but still like to read and leave a reply. If I ever get to the hundreds maybe then I won’t be able to read them all…lol.
Regards
Donald
