My Etsy shop has become a wonderfully reliable and FUN income generator!

I make sales every day and the 1,000 sale milestone is now firmly in my sights!

The best thing about my Etsy business is that it takes no more than a couple of hours work per week to keep it ticking over – I have achieved this by focusing on just a hand full of popular vintage print subjects.

Each copy of this book generates $417.60 in gross revenue before fees. (Etsy charge a 20c listing fee plus a 3.5% sales fee).

  17. This is an interesting niche area but I always think there must be a limit to the demand for prints – can the same source materials be sold over again on the same platform? It shows just how big the internet really is if so!

    • You hit the nail on the head when you said “it shows how big the internet really is” Michael!

      Despite sharing my methods and niches for many years I continue to make sales every day, there is a massive demand out there for affordable art to decorate people’s homes and vintage book prints are the perfect product to satisfy this demand.

      The competition on Etsy is relatively low particularly when compared to eBay with often only a handful of sellers competing over a particular niche subject.

      NOW is the time to get your shop set up and established to give you that competitive edge in the future.

I am recently retired and see this as a great opportunity to supplement my retirement income.       I’ve never listed on Amazon myself but have heard from a couple of my subscribers who have and have made sales although not at the volume they make on the other platforms – eBay/Etsy.
